Ghoomketu film review
Ghoomketu is the story of Ghoomketu, a 31-year-old man living in Mahona, UP. Ghoomketu is fond of writing and wants to become a big writer in Bollywood. Till date Ghoomketu has not done any job and in the name of writing experience, he has two lines written on the back of bus trucks, which he himself wrote ‘each word’.
Ghoomketu’s family is also amazing. There is a Dadda i.e. Ghumketu’s father (Raghuveer Yadav), who gets angry at every small thing. Santo Bua (Ila Arun), who is like a mother to her nephew and supports her. Guddan Chacha (Swanand Kirkire) of Ghoomketu who lost his love and entered politics. Step mother Shakuntala Devi and newly married bride Janaki Devi (Ragini Khanna), whom Ghoomketu does not like because of her obesity.
In search of a job, Ghumketu goes to his local press office to tickle. Where he is sent back by handing over a book of cinema writing. Now hold this book, Ghoomketu, who is desirous of writing something big, runs away from home to Mumbai one evening. If it were any other film, it would have had to lick a lot of dust but in this film, Ghoomketu goes to Mumbai to meet a producer who is also ready to listen to his stories. Then the series starts with the writing of Ghoomketu, which has no power.
At the same time, the family members of Ghoomketu get upset and write a report in the police and Mumbai’s bribe inspector Badlani (Anurag Kashyap) is given the task to find him. Unlike the policemen of other films, if there are no dreams of change, then if there is not much hope, then it should be good.
Nawazuddin fits into the role of Ghoomketu. His style is very good and he adds life to his character. Raghuveer Yadav makes you laugh as Dadda. Ila Arun has played his role of Sant Bua very well. Ila and Raghuveer kill in this ravishing film. So Swanand, who became the uncle of Ghoomketu, also supports him.
Anurag Kashyap has not done anything special in the role of Inspector Badlani. His role is also a cameo in the film. Apart from this, you will also see cameos of Chitrangada Singh, Amitabh Bachchan, Ranveer Singh, Sonakshi Sinha in this film.
This film of Pushpendra Nath Mishra falls Aundhemunh. A lot is happening in it. There is a fun lead character, a gimmick family, the city of Mumbai, an item song and even a romantic scene catching the train, but all these things are of no use.
Ghoomketu is a comedy film, but apart from some of its things, you don’t laugh anywhere. You just sit and wait for this torture to end. The film was completed in 2014 but could not be released for a few years. This thing is also visible to you, because an unsuccessful attempt has been made to brighten some parts.
The advantage of the film coming on the OTT platform is that you can close it whenever you want. However, if you do not start this film, it will be good.
